Creating copy.

This video and related documentation refers to the TrafficXP product.

Once on the Copy window, the Cart # and Name must be selected.

When selecting the station, you can either select All or an individual station. For circumstances where you want the same piece of copy to air on a subset of your stations, you will need to select one of the stations from the list and complete the creating of this piece of copy. Upon completing, you can then right click on the finished piece of copy in the copy list to create a duplicate. From the duplicated copy editing window, change the station to another one in the subset list and save the copy. This will produce multiple copy entries that target the specific stations while absolutely preventing the copy from running on other stations. If this level of detail is not needed, simply select All from the list.

The category field is only needed if you are using an automation system that requires categories to be defined and exported. Please refer to your automation system documentation for more details.

The station field can be set to several values:

  • OK - Copy is ready to be used.
  • Hold - Copy is in a hold status and it will not be utilized.
  • Trashed - The copy is designated as being no longer used.

The script field is where you can add the actual script. This information will be included when emailing the copy to production and when printing Co-Op invoices.

The notes field is for internal purposes only and is only displayed on this screen as well as included in the production email.
