Changing a contract before it runs.

We have created a contract and the contract has not started.

Sales person comes back and states dollar amount was supposed to be 16 dollars and not 15.

• Go to the Dashboard and select the Contracts Module.

• Select Joe's Roofing and look for the 195 dollars in the Revenue column.

This contract is currently being run so we need to duplicate it.

• So select the contract and right click and select duplicate it.

A Effective Date field will pop up.




Next the Contract-Duplicate field pops up.

• Select the highlighted item in the Item field.

Next the Contract-Duplicate field pops up.

• The original contract was for 22 days and we need to change the dates to match, also change the rate from 15 to 16.

This will take us from the 195 to the correct price of 224 dollars.

• Click the OK button.

This will take you back to the Contract.

• Go to the File Menu and select Approve as seen below.
