How do I register my software?

Will it work on my MacBook Pro (or other Mac-based machine)?

If your Mac computer is an Intel-based processor (newer models) and successfully configure BootCamp; this essentially turns your Mac into a Windows computer. To put this another way, when you boot (using BootCamp) your Mac-based computer into Windows mode; the "Mac" part of the computer is moved to the side and the computer is now, essentially, no different than any other Windows-based computer. We strongly recommend using Windows 7, 8 or 8.1 as the choice of version when configuring BootCamp.

Alternatively, you could use products such as Parallels or VMWare Fusion to run Mac OS and Windows OS software side-by-side on your Mac OS desktop. Although we can't support these products directly, we have many customers using these to run our software on their Mac OS machines. We do support the software under the Windows portion of the operating system. For more information regarding these products, please visit their respective web sites.

Do you recommend an Apple or Mac for RadioTraffic?

No. For full time traffic manager use, we recommend a Windows 64 bit machine with multi-core processor such as quad core or higher.

For sales or management to simply run a report now and then, if you already have a Macbook, RadioTraffic can be made to run on it.

If you don't have one already, our suggestion is to carefully evaluate a Windows machine for all your needs. If traffic is only 1% or 2% of your use and most of your other use demands a Mac, then RadioTraffic can work with Windows via BootCamp, Parallels or VMware Fusion.

When we say we only support RadioTraffic on PCs, it means if a question or problem comes up on a Mac we will say to try the same operation on a PC. If it works there our support ends. If it does not work on a PC, we will fix it so everything works correctly on the PC.

We do not help with installing BootCamp, Parallels or VMware Fusion. We have not bought a fleet of Mac computers or added to our staff to test or support our software on a Mac. We do not intend to do so. While there would be some benefits, the cost associated with those is not proportional to the return.

We have to keep the main thing the main thing.
