Introduction

RadioTraffic converts to a specific Skylla log format.

Station Configuration

To configure RadioTraffic to work with Skylla, you will first need modify the station configuration to utilize Skylla as the automation system. In the administration module, open 'Stations'. Select the station you want to configure and double click. Once the station configuration is visible, select the 'Files' tab. Select the 'Product' to Skylla using the drop down selection tool. The 'Automation Log Path' is where RadioTraffic will export the log to, so set this to the file system folder that Skylla will pull the file from.

The exported file will be named using the mmddyy.log pattern where mm is the month, dd is the station and yy is the year.

Cart Numbers

We do not restrict cart number length in any way; so please check with Skylla for specifics on what is allowed. Note that the export definition limits the cart number to no more than 16 characters.

Automation Commands

Automation commands are exported as cart numbers.

Log Notes

Log Notes are currently not exported.

Programs

Programs are currently not exported.

Avails/Breaks

Avail markers are only used in RT for scheduling purposes.

Automatic Log Reconciliation

We have support for automatic log reconcilation with Smarts Skylla. The expected filename is "playlog.DD" (without the quotations) where the DD represents the day of the month.

The format is expected to be a fixed width column file with a CR/LF at the end of each line. Smarts Skylla does not use categories. There should be 21 columns defined as 10,1,8,1,10,1,2,1,16,1,3,1,2,1,12,1,10,1,25,1,25 and the following columns are utilized:

  • Column 3: Time.
  • Column 9: Cart #.
  • Column 19: Description.
