WORK IN PROGRESS - Please understand that we are actively rewriting much of our documentation and this page is currently "under construction"; if there's anything that you'd like to see added to and/or expanded upon, please let us know by sending us a smile.

Edit

Introduction

RadioTraffic.com converts to a specific PlayBox Technology AirBox ASCII Flat File log format.

Edit

Station Configuration

To configure RadioTraffic.com to work with AirBox, you will first need modify the station configuration to utilize AirBox as the automation system. In the administration module, open 'Stations'. Select the station you want to configure and double click. Once the station configuration is visible, select the 'Files' tab. Select the 'Product' to PlayBox Technology AirBox using the drop down selection tool. The 'Automation Log Path' is where RadioTraffic.com will export the log to, so set this to the file system folder that AirBox will pull the file from.

The exported file name will look something like mmddyy.LOG where mm is month, dd is day and yy is last two digits of year.

Edit

Cart Numbers

RadioTraffic.com does not restrict the cart numbers exported to the AirBox system; please check with that systems documentation for specific restrictions.

Edit

Automation Commands

Automation commands are exported as cart numbers.

Edit

Log Notes

Log Notes do not export to the AirBox export and are used strictly inside of RadioTraffic.com as a means of "commenting".

Edit

Programs

Automation commands are exported as cart numbers.

Edit

Avails/Breaks

Avail markers do not export to the AirBox export and are used strictly inside of RadioTraffic.com as a means of scheduling.

Edit

Log Reconciliation

RadioTraffic currently supports automatic log reconciliation. AirBox needs to be configured for the following tab delimited position columns:

  • *Unknown*
  • Time
  • *Unknown*
  • Description
  • *Unknown*
  • *Unknown*
  • *Unknown*
  • Cart #

The filename should be in the "yyyy_mm_dd_00_00_00_AsRun1.LOG" pattern where, yyyy is the year, mm is the month and dd is the day.
