EditCopy (List)

This window shows all copy of the system. It can be launched directly from the
Dashboard by clicking the Copy icon.

EditLayout
EditMain Menu
- File
- New - Creates a new piece of Copy. (The highlighted piece of copy will be used to automatically set the currently selected customer on the Copy window.)
- Open - Opens the highlighted piece of Copy.
- Print - Prints the existing visible list.
- Print Preview - Print previews the existing visible list.
- Close - Closes the window.
- View
- Archive: Checkmark on/off to show Archive.
- Trash: Checkmark on/off to show Trash.
- Merge: Merge one conflict into another and delete that conflict.
- Reset: Reset the window and columns.
- Refresh: (F5) Reloads the page.
EditColumns
Standard- Customer - ("Grouped By") The Customer this Copy is assigned.
- Cart - The cart # assigned to this piece of Copy.
- Name - The name of the Copy.
- Length - The length of the Copy.
- Ad-ID - The Ad-ID of the Copy; also known as ISCI or tape code.
- Start Date - The start date of the Copy.
- End Date - The end date of the Copy.
- Station - The Station this Copy is assigned. Can either be All Station(s) or set to a single station.
- Status - The current status of the Copy.
Additional- Category - If the AutomationSystem requires a category, this will be visible and displays the assigned category.
- Fill? - Whether or not this Copy usable by the MustFill feature?
- Note - Presents the notes field of the Copy.
EditContext Menu
- Open... - Opens the highlighted piece of Copy.
- New... - Creates a new piece of Copy. (The highlighted piece of copy will be used to automatically set the selected customer on the Copy window.)
- Change - Opens up the Mass Changer-see below.
- Duplicate... - Using the highlighted piece of copy as a template, creates a new piece of Copy.
- Archive -Places that conflict in Archived.
- Trash - Places that conflict in
trashed. - Print... - Prints the highlighted piece of Copy.
- Print Preview... - Print previews the highlighted piece of Copy.
EC Duplicate Copy will apply the same cart# to the new piece of copy and if the new piece of copy is in the same
Customer the Notification Bar will not show that the cart# is in use.
New Button
Clicking on the New button a new piece of
Copy. (The highlighted piece of copy will be used to automatically set the selected customer on the
Copy window.)
Hot Keys
- F1 - Launches the help system (requires correctly configured web browser).
- F4 or Ins - Creates a new piece of Copy. (The highlighted piece of copy will be used to automatically set the selected customer on the Copy window.)
- F5 - Refreshes the view from the database.
- F6 or Esc - Closes the window.
- Enter - Opens the highlighted piece of Copy.
- Home - Moves the highlight line to the top of the list.
- End - Moves the highlight line to the bottom of the list.
- CTRL+A ★ - Highlight (multi-select) all item(s) in the list.
- CTRL+T - Archive the selected copy.

Multi-select ★
You can utilize the shift (keyboard) + click (mouse) combination to select more than one item at a time. When you right click, the actions available for all of the currently selected items will be visible in the context menu. Selecting one of the available tools from this context menu while multiple items are currently selected will apply the selected action to all of those selected items.

Mass Change Copy
The ability to make "mass changes" in
Copy (List) window.
Right clicking on a highlighted group of copy will bring up the Context menu:
The Change menu item will open the Mass Change window:
Where you can mass change the End Date/TFN and the Status of all copy highlighted.
EditCopy (Window)
Every commercial you wish to schedule will need to be entered using the copy window.

- File
- Save - Enabled whenever any changes have been made and commits the information to the database when executed.
- Print - Prints the highlighted piece of Copy.
- Print Preview - Print previews the highlighted piece of Copy.
- Close - Closes the window.
EditNotification Bar
This area of the window will display an "in-use" status if the cart # entered is in use.
There is no notification if the cart number is good or you use "Live".
EditMain Body
- Customer - If you add copy from the CopyList window, you will have a drop-down menu that allows you to choose any Customer entered into the system. If entered from the Contract, the Customer will automatically be chosen for you and cannot be modified. See Customers.
- Cart # - The file number used by the audio cut in your AutomationSystem. This can be edited even if you have chosen to use automatic cart number assignment.
- Name
A name given to the spot so when you look at the spot list you can identify the copy. - Ad-ID - The ad ID number or ISCI Code given by an Agency to the commercial.
- Length - Length of the commercial. This length is only internal for RadioTraffic. If the actual length of the audio in your AutomationSystem is different, your automation will play the full length of the audio without cutting it off if the RadioTraffic entry is a shorter length.
- Start Date & End Date
Run dates for the copy. - Station - Choose to make the copy valid for All Station(s) or individual Station entries. See Stations.
- Category (Optional) - The on-air Category in use by your AutomationSystem (varies from vendor to vendor). Check you're AutomationSystem manual to see if this is necessary. See Categories.
- Status - Whether the copy is eligible to currently run, saved but not currently running or trashed.
- Voice (Optional) - Air talent who produced the commercial. See Voices.
- Usable by MUST FILL. (Optional) - See MustFill.
- Script - The text of the commercial copy. This will be printed as part of CoOp Invoices.
- Notes - Any internal notes.
The copy Name field will appear on printed invoices and can include any identifying information required by your customers.
The
Ad-ID field is required by
agencies and
EDI Electronic Document Interchange Providers.
