Automatic Cart Numbers

Go to Settings/Group and on the first tab, is where you set up automatic cart # assignment, put in your numbers (or letters), then the empty box down below that. If you leave it empty it will never recycle your numbers back into your list. If you put a number in there is will wait that many days after the Copy expires before it recycles back into the list. Most common is setting between 15 and 45 days.

Automatically recycle numbers: how does our production team know which numbers they need to delete on their side?

They don't have to delete any numbers on their side, what the system will do is see the numbers you have already entered into the existing carts, it will ignore those and move to the next in line. Open the Contract, go to the main menu View/Placement Summary tool to print that list for them.
