Make Good

Introduction...

The make good window serves as one-stop shop for reviewing and dealing with the clearing (canceling, trashing) spots that will no longer be aired for whatever reasons may exist. The initial view is summarize make goods as they relate to each and every Customer. The window can be access from the Dashboard, Billing and Contracts.

There are three different views; all, customer and detail.

Layout

This list contains entries for each Customer that have one or more Contracts containing potential make good spots. You can left click to highlight any makeGood line or check the check box. You can double click to go to the MakeGood Customer Window (see below). Right click to open the Context Menu. (If you have MakeGoods and at least one is checked you will also have an "Trash" button.)

Main Menu

  • File
    • Close: Closes the window.

Columns

  • Standard:
    • Dismiss: A check box representing whether this entry is to be included in the Trash button action or not. (See below.)
    • Customer: See Customer.
    • Sales Person: See SalesPerson.
    • Station: See Station.
    • Start Date: The overall Contract start date.
    • End Date: The overall Contract end date.
    • Revenue: The gross revenue related to the potential make goods for this Contract.
    • Count: The total number of potential make goods for this Contract.

(There are no additional columns)

  • Check all: Places a check mark next to all entries.
  • Uncheck all: Removes the check mark next to all entries.

Buttons

  • Trash: Trashes the selected entries designated by the check mark on the check boxes next to each item in the list.

Hot Keys

  • F1: Launches the help system (requires correctly configured web browser).
  • Esc: Closes the window.
  • Space: Toggles the check box for the highlighted entry.
  • Enter: Pulls up the individual spot.

The make good (customer) window provides capabilities for reviewing and dealing with the clearing (canceling, trashing) spots that will no longer be aired for whatever reasons may exist.

Right click to open the Context Menu. (If you have MakeGoods and at least one is checked you will also have an "Trash" button.)

  • Target Date: The target date of this particular spot. See Contract.
  • Rate: The rate for this spot as entered on the Contract.

  • Start Time: The start time for the associated Contract line item.
  • End Time: The end time for the associated Contract line item.

Trash Button

Cancels/trashes the selected entries designated by the check mark on the check boxes next to each item in the list.

  • Check all: Places a check mark next to all entries.
  • Uncheck all: Removes the check mark next to all entries.
  • Reschedule: Prompts for a new date ranging between the Contract line item start and end date associated with the highlighted make good to reschedule the spot (removing it from the MakeGood list).
